Once upon a time in a not so distant land and not long ago at all, the decision was made to
bring all energy into harmony with Mother and Father Nature.

Nuclear energy had caused many accidents and coal-fired power stations made a major contri-
bution to climate change.

Now the energies should be renewable and ecological. Companies called Green Power, Shining
Star, Beauty Forest and Peaceful Green promised pure, clean power without a guilty conscience
for users.
"Green electricity", as the power was called, would be good business since many people wanted

to purchase a clear conscience.

But "green electricity" contained a lot of hydropower. For this, one had to dam rivers and build
many small and large hydroelectric power plants.

But then the old river arms dried out, fish, other aquatic animals and plants died. In addition,
harmful gases were released into the environment.

Alas, it was all just a "green-washed" fraud. Of this, the common people should not be infor-
med. The water millers, electricity sellers and their advocates maintained the illusion of the

"intact" world out of self-interest.

And thus people consume "green energy" from hydropower still to this day ...
